The purpose of Phi Beta Lambda to encourage the involvement of students in the study of business and associated enterprises. Team members shared how essential reading and getting a good education can be to reaching goals on and off the field. Members of AB’s men’s soccer team traveled to Adamston Elementary School in Clarksburg and read to students during two sessions. Nearly 1,000 books were collected during the drive, and more than 200 bags were given out throughout the day’s activities.
Local libraries, churches, and families donated books. Throughout the month of December, PBL members traveled home for the holidays and hosted book drives in their local communities.
